The Circular Catalysts Residency forms part of the Circular Cultures Programme run by Cristiana Tautu of the British Council Romania. For this residency I was hosted by Andreea Machidon and Ruxi Sacalis and the Pro Patrimonio Foundation staying at the beautiful Golescu Villa, Campulung Muscel, Arges County. We spent the week meeting local craftspeople, learning of local traditional textiles craft and exploring the lansdcape and mountains of the area. Local guide Elena Dita shared her foraging knowledge as we explored local plant based dyes to create a collection of textile pieces.
